Employees of Electrolux, a factory in the northern Romanian town of Satu Mare, entered their 23rd day of strike on Wednesday.
Protesters claim a Ron 600 pay rise as employers rejected their demand. Strikers in debt opened two bank accounts expected to ensure a delay of the pay while Cartel Alfa Trade Union Confederation announced the opening two weeks ago of a similar account designed to ensure the pay of strikers.
